Meet Sparky’s New Friends in HangGlider Handbook
Children will easily identify with the characters in the new Sparks HangGlider Handbook. Chloe is an outspoken girl who focuses on God’s bigger picture. Joel is a smart techie and practical joker. Jacob is a compassionate boy who always sees the good in people. Sparkies will have fun getting to know them and learning God’s Word at the same time.

Cubbies Say the Cutest Things!
From the Cubbies forum: “We have a Cubbie who had come only one time because he didn't want to leave Mom and Dad. His older brother (T&T) and sister (Sparks) were going home from club talking about how much fun they have. Cubbie finally told Mom and Dad, ‘I don't have fun being with you anymore; I want to go to Awana.’”

Be a Prayer Warrior for Kids This Summer
Your Awana ministry may not meet in the summer, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to influence your clubbers' lives. Commit to praying for one or two of them each day this season. Send their families notes or postcards letting them know you have prayed for their child and watch God work.

Onward March, Young Clubbers!
 Does your town have a Fourth of July or Labor Day parade? Why not help your clubbers show support for the brave men and women of the armed forces by marching in it or building a float? You can carry the Awana flag along with the American flag and help the public become aware of your ministry!

T&T Trading Cards ‘a Great Motivator’
“Our T&T boys have gotten into the trading cards,” said Ed Cook, a T&T director at Christ Community Church in St. Charles, Illinois. “They all pull them out before Handbook Time and after large group when waiting for parents. They are really excited about getting their cards, and we get reminded not so gently if we forget to give them their pack! It has been a great motivator.”
